PSC Exams

The exams for the post of PSC are conducted at the state level, where candidates that are the domicile residents of that state are only allowed to appear in the entrance exam with a certain number of seats reserved for other state candidates. There are also reservations of seats within the state seats. Furthermore, the manner of conduction of this exam is the same as the Civil Services, that compromises of three different steps such as the Preliminary Test, after which a Mains paper is conducted and lastly, a round of Personal Interview takes place.
Government jobs are something that the not only the citizens need, but also are important for the entire nation. Stable pay to people and stable running of the system is only possible via governmental jobs. But this whole process of selecting people to fill into the job sector isn’t easy.
And that’s what the Public Service Commission does. It’s the process of board that controls the whole slot filling job. PSC is through what the governmental body recruits people through a series of examinations. They are known as PSC exams.
The exams are conducted differently and separately for various government job posts. From lower level of posts to high level posts, the examinations are conducted. Then, the candidates who are eligible are shortlisted and then are later made to write the next level of exam. The process could go on according to the priority of the job.
Applying candidates should have possessed Graduate/Post Graduate Degree of diploma in relevant disciplines from any reputed university or educational board according to the post which you want to apply for.
What’s Age Limitations For State PSC Exam:
  • The common age limit of appliers as per the organization norms should not be below than 18 years and upper age limitation is 33 years as on that date given in official notification.
  • Upper age limit will be Relxable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH) usually Relxable as per PSC’s rules and regulations.
PSC Selection Procedure:
Selection of the candidates will be decided after watching performance in recruitment Entrance Exam and then Interview and PSCs organizes written Test for every state of the country. All the candidates who will be declared qualified for this exam will be called for the interview.
